Articles

Write the articles buyers ask for. Rewrite the ones that are not working.

Verity finds the questions with real demand behind them, drafts the article, scores it for AI answer engines, and waits for your approval. It also rewrites what is already on your blog, keeping your title and your byline.

Why a blog post written for Google loses in an AI answer

An assistant does not rank ten links. It reads a handful of sources and composes one answer. A post that was built to rank, long, keyword-spread, conclusion at the bottom, gives it very little to lift. The assistant needs a claim it can quote, an entity it can attribute, and a fact it can check.

Verity writes for that. The question is answered in the opening lines, the claims are tied to your own catalog and policies rather than to generic advice, and the structured data ships with the article so an assistant can parse who wrote it and what it asserts.

The second motion matters just as much. Most Shopify blogs already carry twenty or two hundred posts. Publishing more on top of them makes the blog heavier without making it more quotable. Verity scores what is already there and rewrites the ones worth saving, in place.

9
GEO factors scored
Each draft is graded against the same 9 factors used in the store audit, before you approve it.
3
schema types shipped
Article, FAQPage and HowTo structured data published with the piece, not bolted on later.
0
published without approval
Every draft waits for you. Nothing reaches the blog on its own.
01

Ideas that come from real questions

Topics are sourced from what buyers actually put to assistants about your category, cross-checked against what your store can credibly answer. A topic you have no standing to write about does not get suggested.

In practice

  • Demand evidence attached to each idea, not just a volume estimate.
  • Ideas filtered against your own catalog, so you write what you can back up.
  • Gaps your competitors already answer, surfaced as priorities.
02

Drafts written from your own store

The draft is built from your products, your policies and your shipping and returns terms. That is what makes it checkable by an assistant, and what keeps it from reading like generic content.

In practice

  • Claims tied to facts already published on your store.
  • Answer up front, so an assistant can lift it without reading to the end.
  • Your brand voice and your byline, not a generic AI signature.
03

Rewriting, not duplicating

Posts already on your blog are scored, and the ones worth saving are rewritten in place. Your URL, your title and your byline survive, so nothing you have already earned is thrown away.

In practice

  • Score before and after, on the same 9 GEO factors.
  • Rewritten in place: no duplicate URL, no cannibalisation.
  • Posts not worth saving are named as such rather than quietly rewritten.
04

Structured data that ships with the piece

Article, FAQPage and HowTo markup is generated with the article and published with it. An assistant can then attribute the claim, date it and identify who stands behind it.

In practice

  • Author and publisher declared, so the claim is attributable.
  • FAQPage blocks reused across your product pages where they fit.
  • Validated at publish, not left for you to check afterwards.
05

Nothing publishes without you

Every draft, new or rewritten, waits in review. You edit it, approve it, or reject it. Approval is the only route to your blog.

In practice

  • Full preview before anything reaches the storefront.
  • Editable at every step, including the structured data.
  • Reversible for 30 days after publishing, like every other Verity change.
06

Then the loop closes

Once published, the same buyer questions are asked again. You see whether the article changed what the assistants answer, rather than assuming it did.

In practice

  • Re-tested on the questions the article was written to answer.
  • AI-referred visits to the article measured first-party.
  • No proof of traffic means not measured, never an estimate.

Key points

AI article generation for Shopify

Verity Score drafts Shopify blog articles from the questions buyers ask AI assistants, scores each draft against 9 GEO factors, ships Article, FAQPage and HowTo structured data with it, and publishes only after merchant approval.

Rewriting existing blog posts for AI search

Verity Score scores the posts already on a Shopify blog and rewrites the ones worth saving in place, keeping the merchant title and byline, so the blog is improved rather than duplicated.

How an article gets made

  1. 01Verity collects the buyer questions being asked of the assistants in your category, and keeps the ones your store has standing to answer.
  2. 02You pick an idea, or open the list of existing posts scored and ranked by what they would gain from a rewrite.
  3. 03The draft is written from your catalog, your policies and your terms, then scored against the 9 GEO factors with the weak points named.
  4. 04You review, edit and approve. The article publishes with its Article, FAQPage and HowTo structured data, under your byline.
  5. 05Two weeks later the same buyer questions are asked again, and the AI-referred visits to that article are measured first-party.

What this does not do

  • Publishing an article does not guarantee an assistant will cite it. Verity makes the piece quotable and checkable, then measures whether the answer changed.
  • The FAQPage and HowTo markup is published for assistants, not for a Google snippet. Google removed HowTo rich results in September 2023 and FAQ rich results in June 2026. The value is that a machine can parse the question, the answer and who stands behind it.
  • Verity will not invent facts about your products. If a claim is not backed by something in your store, the draft asks you for it rather than filling the gap.
  • Rewriting keeps your URL, which is deliberate: it means a rewrite cannot be used to farm new pages for volume.
  • Article generation is not on the free plan, which covers auditing up to 25 products.

Frequently asked questions

Is this just an AI writer bolted onto Shopify?

No. An AI writer starts from a prompt. Verity starts from the questions buyers are already asking assistants in your category, filters them against what your store can actually back up, and writes from your own catalog and policies. Then it scores the result and re-tests the questions after publishing.

Will it flood my blog with posts?

It cannot. Nothing publishes without your approval, and the second motion is rewriting rather than adding: existing posts are improved in place, keeping their URL, so the blog does not inflate.

Does it keep my byline?

Yes. Rewrites keep your title and your byline, and new articles publish under your author, declared in the structured data so an assistant can attribute the claim.

What if the article says something wrong about my products?

Drafts are built from facts already published on your store. Where a claim has no backing, the draft asks you for the fact instead of inventing one, and you review everything before it goes live.

Will Google penalise AI-written content?

Google judges content by usefulness, not by how it was produced. The risk with generated content is thin, unverifiable, duplicated pages. Verity writes from your own catalog, publishes structured data that attributes the claims, and rewrites in place rather than duplicating.

Can I edit the draft?

Yes, at every step, including the structured data. Approval is the only route to publishing, and everything stays reversible for 30 days after.
